Barry M. Bloom, Special Counsel

BARRY M. BLOOM, Special Counsel, serves as real estate finance counsel for Drohan Lee. He has over 50 years of experience in the real estate mortgage and financing industry. Mr. Bloom has represented real estate venture capital firms, REIT’s institutional and private lenders and titles companies in transactional and litigation matters. He was a trustee of Kingsbrook Jewish Medical Center and director of The Henry Street Settlement in New York. Mr. Bloom is a member of The Real Property Law Section of the New York State Bar Association and the Committee on Legal Services for Persons of Moderate Means of the New York City Bar Association. He previously served on the Small Law Firm Committee of the Association of the Bar of the City of New York where he chaired panels related to real estate financing. He is the Chair of the Senior Lawyers Committee of the City Bar in New York. Currently, he is a partner in Moneta Partners, a private investment firm. He graduated from Cornell University in 1958, and Harvard Law School in 1961.
