Jae W. Lee, Partner
JAE W. LEE, Partner, is a member of the firm’s Management Committee and heads Drohan Lee’s Tax Practice Group, in addition to his role as fund and investment tax counsel to the Alternative Investments Practice. His areas of practice are corporate taxation and corporate transactional matters. Mr. Lee was an associate at Curtis, Mallet-Prevost, Colt & Mosle, LLP before founding Lee & Kelley in 2000, where he remained until that firm’s merger into DL. He graduated with honors from Dartmouth College in 1991, Fordham University School of Law in 1996 and New York University School of Law with a Master of Laws in Taxation in 1997. While at Fordham, he was the Notes and Articles Editor of the Fordham Urban Law Journal.
Mr. Lee’s expertise includes tax advice regarding corporate and partnership structuring, mergers and acquisition, cross-border transactions and private offerings. Mr. Lee works extensively with privately-held companies in a variety of industries as well as with high net-worth individuals and families.
