Associate Paul I. Shin graduated from Korea University in Korea in 2001 and received his Juris Doctorate degree from Albany Law School in 2007. He has also completed studies in Chinese corporate law, legal procedure and process at People’s University in China. He practices in the area of US and international securities, commodities and financial regulation, and provides advice with respect to the creation, structuring and restructuring of various private investment vehicles. He is currently a member of the American Bar Association and the Association of the Bar of the City of New York, and is admitted to practice in New York and New Jersey. Prior to obtaining his law degree, Mr. Shin worked at Seyok Industries, a major Korea-based international trading group, and for the New York State Governor’s Office of Regulatory Reform. He is fluent in English, Korean and Chinese.
