Gerald Agranoff is special counsel to the firm’s Tax Practice and Alternative Investment Practice Groups. From 1975 through 1981, Mr. Agranoff was engaged exclusively in the private practice of law in New York, in addition to his position as adjunct-instructor at New York University’s Institute of Federal Taxation. Prior to entering private practice, Mr. Agranoff was an attorney-advisor to a judge of the United States Tax Court. In addition to his role with Drohan Lee, he is currently a director and chairman of the audit committee of Triple Crown Media, Inc., a newspaper publishing company that owns and operates six daily newspapers and one weekly newspaper, and a director of Petrosearch Energy Corporation, an independent crude oil and natural gas exploration and production company. Mr. Agranoff received his LLM in Taxation from New York University and his BS and JD degrees from Wayne State University.
